ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners / Accused Nos.1 and 2, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 120(b), 143, 147, 148, 294(b), 307, 1/3

323, 338 and 451 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in PRC No. 26/2024, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam in Crime No.199 of 2019 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused persons in PRC No. 26/2024, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam for the offences under Sections 120(b), 143, 147, 148, 294(b), 307, 323, 338 and 451 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

3. The petitioners were absent on the date of hearing in PRC No. 26/2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam. Therefore, non bailable warrant came to be issued on 01.04.2024.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners undertakes that the petitioners shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

5. Considering the undertaking given by the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a petition to recall the NBW issued against them. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders.
