Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to renew the license issued to the petitioner bearing No.1/VIII/2020 and the license No.1/VII-A/2020 by converting the same under Form VIII within a specified time limit fixed by this Court by considering the renewal application, dated 14.06.2023 and 03.11.2023.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to renew the license issued to the petitioner bearing No.1/VIII/2020 and the license No. 1/VII-A/2020 by converting the same under Form VIII within a specified time 1/4

limit fixed by this Court by considering the renewal application, dated 14.06.2023 and 03.11.2023.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the application dated 14.06.2023 and 03.11.2023 submitted by the petitioner for renewal of his licence after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
