JUDGMENT

Heard both sides.

2.The respondent herein was employed as Conductor in the respondent transport corporation. He had completed more than 25 years of service. Since his gratuity claim was not settled, he went before the Controlling Authority. Though he failed before the Controlling Authority, he succeeded before the Appellate Authority. Challenging the same, the management filed W.P.(MD)No.1240 of 2024. The learned Single Judge dismissed the writ petition vide order dated 26.02.2024. Questioning the same, this writ appeal has been filed. 3.The sum involved is just Rs.23,323/-. The learned Single Judge had in fact reduced the interest rate from 10% to 8.5%. Interference with the said order is not warranted and the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. (G.R.S. J.,) & (K.R.S.
