This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 14 of 2024 on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, Alangulam Police Station, Virudhuangar District

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 14 of 2024 and also filed final report before the concerned Court vide e.filing No. 20220001830C202400201 and the same is yet to be taken cognizance.

3. At this juncture the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seek permission of this Court to withdraw the petition.

4. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report.
