ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection for life and limb of the petitioner based on the complaint dated 09.12.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, she fell in love with one Vaitheeswaran. While so, the parents of the petitioner arranged marriage for her, hence on 03.12.2024 she went to the working place of Vaitheeswaran at Tirunelveli to meet him. Since the mother of the petitioner is working as a Head Constable she using her influence taken away the mother and sister of the said Vaitheeswaran to Pudukottai Town Police Station. The parents of the petitioner also decided to kill the petitioner, hence she lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 09.12.2024 for police protection but the same was not considered, hence she has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that now the petitioner is under the custody of her parents and the mother of the petitioner is the third respondent herein in this petition. Further there are no grounds stated by 2/5

the petitioner to consider the petitioner's representation and there are only vague allegations stated in the representation and hence the petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent would submit that now the petitioner is under the care and custody of the third respondent and there is no life threat to her.

In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and also the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent that the petitioner is under her parents custody and no any life threat tot he petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed as the petitioner is under the custody of her mother who is the third respondent in this petition.
