O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to grant an Order of Direction directing the 2nd respondent police to file the Final Report / Investigation Report in Crime No. 10 of 2023, dated. 28.04.2023 within the time limit as fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in this case, investigation has been progressed, so far, 15 witnesses have been listed and the charge sheet is yet to be filed before the concerned Court. 3.The counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be permitted to make his submission with regard to the non-recovery of dowry and jewellery before the trial Court.

4.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the trial Court is directed to take cognizance as per rules within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of final report. 2/4

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
