O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to cancel patta in patta No.1947 situated in favour of third respondent namely Palanisamy in respect of SF.No. 185/18A situate at R.Palakurichi Village, Ponnamravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering petitioners representation dated 29.11.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the subject property is the ancestral property of the petitioner and patta was also issued in the petitioner's grandfather's name. While so, the third respondent's name was included in the patta standing in the name of the petitioner's father in Patta No. 1446.The third respondent's name was included without issuing notice to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 29.11.2024 to the respondents to cancel the patta issued in favour of the third respondent in Patta No.1446. As no action was taken on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that the second respondent has already sent his report to the first respondent and therefore, reasonable time may be granted to the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation.

In view of the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the first respondent shall issue notice of hearing to the petitioner and all the interested persons before passing the final orders.
