O R D E R

The petitioner alleges contempt of the orders of this Court, dated 19.10.2024, passed in W.P.(MD) No.13657 of 2024.

2. In terms of that order, the Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime Division-I, Cyber Crime Wing, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, was directed to intimate the nature of the amount involved in the alleged illegal activities of the petitioner to M/s.RBL Bank, Nungambakkam Branch, Chennai.

3. On 21.02.2025, when the matter came up for consideration, Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader, had taken notice for the respondent and sought time for reporting compliance of the orders passed by this Court. Hence, I adjourned the matter to today.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.M.Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the

respondent, has produced a copy of the Email communication to show that the Police have informed M/s.RBL Bank to defreeze the account of the petitioner. The said Email has been sent on 12.02.2025, at 04:38:29 p.m., and Reminder-2 has also been sent by the Police to the said Bank. The Email communication also points out that M/s.RBL Bank, acting upon the Email communication sent by the Police, has also "Defreezed" the petitioner's Account No.409001940467.

5. As the orders passed by this Court have been complied with, albeit with delay, I am not inclined to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent.

6. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. 06.03.2025 NCC :
