O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for the issuance of a direction to the third respondent to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner's life, limb, and property, by considering his representation dated 03.12.2024.

2. The petitioner sent a representation on 03.12.2024 seeking protection for his life, limb, and property. The contention of the petitioner is that he is engaged in agricultural activities on land in Survey No. 410/2C/2B, measuring an extent of 20 Cents, on which one Vepillai Pandiyan and Murugiah Thevar, the fourth and fifth respondents herein, had earlier raised objections. The petitioner had filed a civil suit in O.S. No.394 of 2015, and a permanent injunction was granted in his favour on 10.12.2018. Thereafter, the petitioner filed Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10754 of 2022, seeking consideration of his representation dated 31.05.2022 for providing security, and the same was ordered in favour of the petitioner on 17.06.2022. Subsequently, the petitioner filed W.P.(MD) No.27431 of Page No. 2 of 5

2023, seeking a survey of the land and marking of the boundaries, which has now been conducted, and the boundary has been fixed.

3. Now, the said Vepillai Pandiyan and Murugiah Thevar, the fourth and fifth respondents herein, having found that the petitioner is becoming defensive in response to their acts of threatening him, are continuing to cause problems. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has given a bold representation without sufficient details, and that as and when any specific incident is reported, the respondent police will take immediate action against those causing harm to the petitioner's body or obstructing the peaceful possession and enjoyment of his property.

5. Recording the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
