PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to approve the appointment of third respondent in the post of Drawing Teacher in Stella Maris Girsl High School, Thisayanvilai, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2024. 1/4

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the management of an aided minority institution seeking a mandamus to approve the appointment of third respondent who was appointed as a Drawing Teacher in the petitioner's school with effect from 15.02.2024, considering the proposal submitted by the petitioner school dated 28.05.2024.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner that the third respondent was appointed in the petitioner school as a Drawing Teacher on 14.02.2024. To approve her appointment, the petitioner school management has sent a proposal to the respondent authorities on 28.05.2024. Since, the said proposal has not been considered by the respondent authorities, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed forward the proposal to the first respondent if it is otherwise in order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the first respondent is directed to consider the proposal and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
