ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2024 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner has sent a representation on 28.09.2024 to the Chief Minister's Cell which was forwarded to the third respondent. The third respondent had called the petitioner for enquiry on 14.10.2024. The petitioner as well as the counter petition namely Duraisamy Udaiyar had appeared. Thereafter they both gave an undertaking that they will appear before the respondent and produce documents in support of their claim and the petitioner was informed that he will be called for enquiry again and thereafter no response from the third respondent, hence the above petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has sent complaint to the Chief Minister's cell which was forwarded to the third respondent on 12.10.2024 and the petitioner and Duraisamy Udaiayar were called for enquiry. They both gave an underatking to produce document in support of their claim, thereafter they failed to to appear.

4. The learned cousnel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that the petitioner will appear before the respondent police on 27.12.2024.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent on 27.12.2024 and the respondent police to ensure the presence of Duraisamy Udaiyar on 27.12.2024 and to conduct enquiry and close the same within a period of two months from 27.12.2024. 3/5

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
