ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to issue Pistol License to the petitioner, based on his application dated 09.12.2021 and in furtherance of the report submitted by the respondents 2 to 4.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner dated 09.12.2021 on merits and in accordance with law, if not already disposed of, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
