ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.185 of 2018 pending on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioners, they have filed the suit for the relief of declaration, permanent injunction and other declaratory decree relating to various documents executed in favour of the defendants 2 to 6 in the suit. The said suit was filed in the year 2018 and the same is pending for more than six months even after the trial was 2/5

closed due to the non-appearance and non-co-operative attitude of the respondents / defendants and the Trial Court has been simply adjourning the suit for the sake of defendants / respondents. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the respondent.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai, to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.185 of 2018 pending on his file, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits 3/5

and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. 20.12.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes BTR To The Subordinate Judge, Devakottai.
