ORDER

The petitioner lodged a complaint on 05.11.2024 seeking protection from one Dharmeswaran and Deivendran, who were obstructing the petitioner from carrying out renovation work on the 1300-year-old Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Murugathuranpatty, which is in a dilapidated condition.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, C.S.R.No.283 of 2024 was assigned. The petitioner apprehended that respondents 4 and 5 were obstructing him. They were called and provided a written assurance that they would not interfere with the petitioner's renovation work. It was also noted that the petitioner had a separate issue with one Michael, who stated that he had no involvement in the petitioner's work. After recording these statements, the petitioner's complaint was closed. Furthermore, it was submitted that the key to the temple had been handed over to the petitioner. 2/4

3. In view of the above, nothing remains pending for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
