ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by the retired employee of the 1st respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus for settling the petitioner's surrender leave salary of Rs.1,56,308/- for 143 days along with 6% interest from the date of his retirement.
2. Seeking the above said benefits, the petitioner has given a representation on 13.11.2024. Since the representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents are directed to disburse the eligible surrender leave salary to the petitioner along with 6% from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
