O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The proceedings of the first respondent, dated 20.11.2024 directing the petitioner to remove the encroachment made by him in the highways road is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The petitioner filed another writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.9506 of 2025 seeking a direction to the Tahsildar, Kariapatti Taluk, Aruppukkottai District, to rectify the mistake in his patta and the same has been dismissed by this Court, by an order dated 16.06.2025.

3. The present writ petition has been filed questioning the eviction proceedings initiated by the respondents under the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001. The authorities concerned, based on the survey conducted and based on the report of the Revenue Tahsildar, Kariapatti, addressed to the first

respondent vide letter dated 06.09.2024, have identified the encroachments in the highways road and passed final orders of eviction. Therefore, the procedures, as contemplated under the Act were followed. Thus, this Court do not find any infirmity in respect of the action taken against the petitioner. 4 Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
