PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BSNSS to call for the records in Crime No.1793 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as illegal. For Petitioner : Ms.K.Vinothini For Respondent : Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi No.1 Government Advocate(Crl.Side)

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.1793 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police 1/4

2. The contention of the petitioner is that in the First Information Report there is no named accused. The petitioner has been implicated as an accused based on the confession given by the co-accused. The petitioner is an law graduate and he is consulting work and due to the pendency of the case the petitioner is unable to enrol himself as an advocate. Further the limited prayer of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court so that the petitioner can contest the case and enrol himself as an advocate. She would further submit another two cases are pending as against the petitioner in Crime Nos.1794 of 2020 and 1906 of 2020 and seeks direction to dispose all the cases together.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in this case charge sheet has been made ready and it will be filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti without further delay within a period of two weeks.

4. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to file final report in all the crime numbers (Crime Nos.1793 0f 2020, 1794 of 2020 and 1906 of 2020) forthwith before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadippatti and the learned Magistrate is directed to take the final 2/4

report on file within a period of two weeks therefrom and thereafter dispose all the cases within a period of four months therefrom.
