This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal preferred by the Petitioner under Section 14 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1982, dated 9.12.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar,learned counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itsef. 3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the petitioner, dated 9.2.2014, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
