ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No. 1/3

Not known of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions from the respondent Police, submitted that the petition enquiry is pending in C.P. No.G4/30463/2731/2024 dated 09.12.2024 against the petitioner.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of two weeks from today and report before this Court on 09.01.2025.

5. Post the matter on 09.01.2025 for reporting compliance. Till then, the petitioner shall not be arrested by the respondent police.
