The petitioner is the accused filed this petition to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in respect of Crime No.4 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police. Page 1/4

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today (ie., on 19.12.2024), the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that after the investigation, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department, Chennai-16, sent the case to the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Chennai-28, for conducting departmental enquiry against the petitioner and others.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further order is necessary in this petition. Hence, this criminal original petition is closed.
