ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2024 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as a Clerk in the Auditor Officer and her husband is employed as an agent in Anamalai agencies in Trichy. They often call one person by name Senthil for his reantal auto and they also had friendly relationship with him. When the said Senthil intended to purchase a new auto he approached the petitioner and asked for money at that time the petitioner and her husband gave a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to Senthil by pledging their jewels for which the said Senthil provided them Rs.20 Debenture deed and promissory note and also assured to return the amount. When the petitioner requested to return the money the said Senthil assured to return 2/6

the same on 17.11.2024 but thereafter he failed to repay the same. Thereafter on 17.11.2024 at about 11.30 am., the accused persons trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant attacked her, abused her and also criminally intimidated her for which she has lodged a complaint before the Sessions Court Police Station , CSR No. 171 of 2024 assigned, no action has been taken. Hence the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner CSR No. 171 of 2024 assigned and the enquiry is still pending.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that the petitioner will appear before the respondent police on 27.12.2024.

5. It is seen from the Accident Register annexed with the petition that the petitioner sustained grievous injuries and she has taken treatment. The third respondent is directed to look into the Accident 3/6

Register and consider the representation of the petitioner and proceed further in this regard. During enquiry if any cognizable offence is made out directed to register the FIR and appropriate action to be taken against the persons against whom complaint is pending. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent on 27.12.2024 for enquiry along with supporting documents.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
