ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the Respondent No.1 to transfer the investigation and to file final report regarding to the case in Crime No.309 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent No.3 to the Respondent No.2 or to any other investigation agency by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the father of the deceased and also the defacto complainant, at whose instance, First Information Report in Crime No.309 of 2024 was registered for the offence under Section 194 of BNSS for the death of his son due to electrocution. However, even after the registration of the FIR, there is no progress in the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation is still pending.

4. In view of the same, the third respondent police is directed to complete their investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. Recording the same, this Court directs the first respondent to monitor the investigation conducted by the third respondent. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to appraise the progress of the investigation to the first respondent every Friday. 03.02.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No dss TO:- 1.The Superintendent of Police, Office of the Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District.
