ORDER

The writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the representation, dated 20.08.2024 to cancel the patta issued to the respondents 3 and 4.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents and the learned counsel appearing for the private respondents.

3. Since the prayer sought for in this writ petition is only seeking a direction to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2024 to cancel the Patta, I am inclined to dispose of the writ 2/5

petition without going into the merits of the rival contentions of the petitioner and the respondents 3 & 4. The first respondent, before whom the application dated 20.08.2024 for cancellation of patta is pending, shall afford an opportunity of hearing to both the petitioner as well as respondents 3 & 4 and pass orders on the merits of the submissions/contentions advanced by the respective parties. It is open to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 & 4 to submit all relevant documents in support of their respective contentions. The first respondent shall thereafter, pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
