ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 494, 498(A)of the IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman (Amendment) Act 2002, in Crime No.15 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there is a matrimonial dispute which resulted in the complaint given by the wife. There are totally 5 accused persons in this case and the petitioner has been arrayed as A1. The investigation has been completed and a police report has been filed and the petitioner (A1) has been shown as absconding accused. Apprehending the arrest, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Judicial 2/4

Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli. On such surrender, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall get a bond from the petitioner under Section 91 of BNSS, 2023, by imposing necessary conditions.
