Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the writ petition has become infructuous, since the petitioner's request has been rejected through proceedings of the Executive Officer, Special Grade Panchayat, Kanyakumari District, dated 12.12.2024.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order in the manner known to law. No costs.
