ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 3 and 6 and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the fifth respondent. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.
2.It is not in dispute that Survey Nos.438 and 439 of Kalladai Village, Kulithalai Taluk have been classified as "water bodies". 3.We direct the second respondent to conduct survey. If encroachments are noticed, notices will be issued to the encroachers and they will be removed by adhering to due process of law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
