ORDER

The prayer is that the petitioner had given a complaint on 20.05.2023 and no action has been taken and hence, filed this petition.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner is running a business in the name of MV Motors dealing with auto mobile spare parts. He is also having a sweet milk shop and he is well placed in the business. In the year 2020, one Arun, resident of Thillai Nagar, Trichy, was introduced by one Nishanth Sakthivel to take car for hire. The said Arun introduced Deepika, Pradeep, Prasanthini, Periasamy and Pushpa. They introduced one Sureshkumar and Neruji and they are running business in the name of Toss Trading L.L.P., Metal Scrub, Solar Plant, wholesale agriculture raw material, foods, beverages, tobacco, household good, live animals and other business. The petitioner's contention is that he invested huge sums of money in that business and now being cheated. Despite the petitioner gave complaint, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.276 of 2022, which has been registered and 2/4

investigated by the CCB-I, Chennai. In that case, one Loganathan and others lodged complaint against the petitioner for a similar cause of action. The petitioner now wanted to create a defence, projected as he has been cheated. On perusal of the materials, the petitioner's complaint has been closed. He further submitted that the closure report was not served to the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to serve closure report to the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner is at liberty to agitate, if he is so adviced.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
