The instant writ petition has been filed by a Tahsildar working at Tirunelveli District, seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to consider his review application dated 28.10.2024.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner had preferred an appeal before the second respondent and the same was dismissed on 29.09.2024. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed a review application before the first respondent on 28.10.2024. Since, the review application has not been taken on file by the first respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to take the review application on file (presented by the writ petitioner on 28.10.2024), if it is otherwise in order and proceed further and pass order in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
