ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry and pass order as per the proceedings of the third respondent dated 03.05.2024 in respect of the property in Survey No.587/2A, an extent of 0.19.00 Ares, and in Survey No.587/2B, an extent of 0.20.00 Ares, totalling of 96 cents, in Pallapatti Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The writ petitioner has filed this writ petition for speedy disposal of the appeal filed by him before the second respondent under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act.

3. It is seen that the writ petitioner filed an appeal on 03.04.20223 and since no action was taken, the writ petitioner sent a representation dated 02.12.2024, to the third respondent. Even thereafter no steps were taken for disposal of the writ petitioner's appeal.
4. In view of the said facts, I am inclined to direct the second respondent to dispose of the writ petitioner's appeal filed under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that before passing final orders all interested parties would be put on notice and opportunity of hearing would be afforded to them.
