respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.011/2024/C2 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent no.1 to 4 herein to grant permission for worshipping and conducting pooja at Sri Palla Karuppasamy Temple situated at Vagurani Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District in accordance with law.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 28.10.2024 passed by the third respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.011/2024/C2.

2. Considering the nature of this order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. There is a dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent with regard to the petition mentioned temple and therefore, the issue involved in this writ petition can be resolved by once again conducting a peace committee meeting between the petitioner and the fifth respondent.

4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry with regard to the relief sought for in this writ petition, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
