ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to carry out appropriate entry in village accounts pertaining to Plot No.27 assigned to the petitioner in SF.No.582/2 of Periyathalai Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District and to upload online patta in official website with corresponding subdivision number, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2024. 2.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.Though the Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to give a positive direction to the respondents, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate order within a time stipulated by this Court.

4.Having regard to the limited scope of prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court directs the third respondent to hold an enquiry with regard to the entitlement/assignment/grant of patta in favour of the petitioner including the rival claimants/private individuals/Government acquisition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 19.11.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
