The instant writ petition has been filed by an Office Superintendent working in the office of Joint Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Tiruchirapalli, seeking a mandamus to include him name in the panel for the post of Assistant Accounts Officer, Class IV, based upon the seniority.
2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has made a similar request to the department and it was rejected by way of proceedings dated 19.07.2024. Without challenging the said order, the present writ petition has been filed. Therefore, this writ petition is not maintainable.
3. In view of the above said facts, this writ petition is disposed of, with a liberty to the petitioner, to challenge the order dated 19.07.2024, if he is so advised. No costs.
