Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to change the land as agricultural land instead of Plot (Sq.ft) by fixing the guideline value and restore the same in connection with S.No.134/1A1B, 135/1B, 135/2B in Patta No.1023 to an extent of 2.87.50 Hectares situated at Ayan Reddiapatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representations dated 16.10.2024 within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 1/4

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to change the land as agricultural land instead of Plot (Sq.ft) by fixing the guideline value and restore the same in connection with S.No.134/1A1B, 135/1B, 135/2B in Patta No.1023 to an extent of 2.87.50 Hectares situated at Ayan Reddiapatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2024 and pass order on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
