Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 22.11.2024 and pass orders to survey and identify 0.00.10 sqmt acquired lands in S.No. 437/8, Eranial Village, Kanniyakumari District Consequently to pay compensation to the petitioner if his dwelling house is covered under the acquisition area.

ORDER
Though the writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2024, to survey and identify the acquired lands in S.No.437/8, Eranial Village, Kanniyakumari District and consequently pay a compensation to the petitioner, today the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would bring to my notice that even as early as on 28.12.2024, survey has been conducted. He would also invite my attention to the communication dated 27.01.2025 in this regard. The said communication confirms the fact that in respect of the petitioner's house 2/4
and valuation thereof, action has already been initiated and upon receipt of the valuation, the compensation shall be released to the petitioner.

Recording the statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that after valuation, compensation would be released to the petitioner, the writ petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, in the event of being aggrieved by any order that may be passed by the respondents.
