O R D E R

(Order of the Court was delivered by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The petitioner herein filed W.P.(MD)No.22197 of 2024 for demolishing the compound wall said to have been put up by the fifth respondent Meganathan. The Hon'ble Division Bench vide order dated 03.10.2024 directed the Corporation to remove the said encroachment. Alleging that the direction of the Hon'ble Division Bench has not been complied with, Prabakaran filed this contempt petition.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the Corporation on written instructions submitted that the compound wall in question was fully demolished on 03.04.2025. A copy of the written instructions given on 09.04.2025 addressed to the petitioner is also taken on record. This contempt petition is closed.
