Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 4 to 7 in Odai situated in Survey Nos. 62/1 and 68/2 at Rajadhani Village Panchayat, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 08.11.2024 and 27.11.2024, within the time frame stipulated by this Court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

2.It is not in dispute that Survey Nos. 62/1 and 68/2 of Rajadhani Village Panchayat, Aundipatti Taluk have been classified as "water bodies". 3.We direct the third respondent to conduct survey. If encroachments are noticed, notices will be issued to the encroachers and they will be removed 2/4

by adhering to due process of law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
