Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2. The petitioner is a resident of Thogaimalai Village. He alleges that there are encroachments in the petition-mentioned survey numbers.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that after issuing notice and conducting survey, the jurisdictional Tahsildar has completely removed all the encroachments in the petition-mentioned survey numbers.

4. We direct the official respondents to ensure that the petition-mentioned survey numbers are kept free of encroachment for all times to come. Recording the statement of the learned Special Government Pleader and with the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
