ORDER

The petitioner had sent a representation to the first respondent seeking to provide police protection during survey of his land in S.No. 2/4A, Thiruppachetti South Village.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the Tahsildar has fixed to survey and demarcate his land on 27.12.2024 at about 10.00 am. In this regard, notice was sent to Annadurai and Balu, apart from the petitioner. The petitioner had also paid the necessary fees.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the first respondent had received the petitioner's representation and the first respondent would provide adequate protection to the public servants to conduct survey.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that without any reasonable cause or justification, survey cannot be objected. If required, police can take appropriate action against the offenders. No costs.
