Heard Ms.S.Jainab Beevi, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.In compliance of the order of this Court, dated 18.02.2025, Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader has forwarded a compliance affidavit of the second respondent, dated 24.02.2025 and submits that the respondents may be discharged from the contempt proceedings. In paragraph No.2 of the compliance affidavit, the second respondent has stated as follows:

"2.I respectfully state that the subject contempt petition has been filed for non compliance of the order made in W.P. (MD)No.9193 of 2020 dated 29.06.2022 on the file of this Hon'ble Court. In pursuance to the above order, proposal for payment has been forwarded to our office and the amount has also been sanctioned in favour of the petitioner. Subsequently, the above amount has been credited to the petitioner and copy of the same is annexed here with. I pray this Hon'ble Court to read the same as part and parcel of this affidavit. Since the order had been complied with, the subject contempt petition may be closed."

3.Ms.S.Jainab Beevi, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that in compliance of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.9193 of 2024, dated 29.06.2022, the entire amount has been received by the petitioner and she has no objection to discharge the respondents from the contempt proceedings.

4.After considering the compliance affidavit filed before this Court, dated 24.02.2025 and the submission of the learned Counsels for the parties, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served in continuing the present contempt proceedings, as the order passed by this Court, dated 29.06.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.9193 of 2024, has been complied with by the respondents. Thus, the respondents are discharged from the present contempt proceedings. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is disposed of. No costs.
