ORDER

Though the matter has been adjourned for impleading the HR & CE, today, on instructions, Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate, would submit that the subject lands are classified as waterbody and hence, the Tahsildar may not be in a position to issue patta to the petitioner.

2. Be that as it may, considering that the petitioner has already made an application to the Tahsildar on 26.11.2024, for issuance of patta in the name of the temple in survey No.397 & 198 at Thirupparankundram Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District to an extent of 0.02.00 hectare, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
