ORDER
The petitioners seek the limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioners' application dated 28.06.2024 on the file of the 3rd respondent bearing proceedings number in Na.Ka.A2/3471/2024 within the stipulated time.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
3. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this writ petition, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The grievance of the petitioners is that the patta has been wrongly issued in the name of the third party who is in noway connected to the property belonging to the petitioners. Therefore, a request has been made on 28.06.2024 to correct the mistake in the records. Despite the representations given on 28.06.2024, no effective steps have been taken by the respondents.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioners have not given any representation to the 2/5
second respondent, who is the competent authority and the representation dated 28.06.2024 addressed only to the third respondent/Tahsildar.

In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to give a fresh representation enclosing a copy of this order to the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the second respondent shall pass final orders on the petitioners' representation dated 28.06.2024 along with the fresh representation being made to the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. Needless to state that if any other interested parties involved in the subject matter proceedings, then the second respondent shall also issue notice to such parties and hear their objections, if any, before passing the final order.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
