P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take permanent solution for the Chitra Pavarnami Veedhi Ula and funeral procession of Hindu Parayar Community people living in the Keelakovilpathu without any interruption from the Pallar Community People living in the Vadapathi while the Chitra Pavarnami Veedhi Ula and funeral procession taking through the Keelatheru situated in the Vadapathi, Ammapettai, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District in the light of the lok Adalat settlement in O.S.No.27/2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give permanent solution for the Chitra Pavarnami Veedhi Ula and funeral procession of Hindu Parayar Community people living in the Keelakovilpathu, without any interruption from the Pallar Community People living in the Vadapathi, while the Chitra Pavarnami Veedhi Ula 2/6
and funeral procession taking through the Keelatheru situated in the Vadapathi, Ammapettai, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District, in the light of the lok Adalat settlement in O.S.No.27/2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur.
2. Considering the nature of the order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the private respondents herein and conduct enquiry and pass orders in accordance with lok Adalat settlement in O.S.No.27/2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam, Thanjavur, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the private respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
