2. This miscellaneous petition has been filed by the wife of the detenue. The petitioner states that when she visited her husband, his physical condition appeared pathetic. The detenue is a diabetic.

Considering the averments set out in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, we direct the third respondent to ensure that the detenue is given appropriate treatment in the Government Medical College Hospital, Tirunelveli.
