ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the Execution Petition in E.P.No.2 of 2024 in O.S.No.200 of 2014 pending on the file of the learned Sub Court, Sivagangai within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioner, the petitioner filed a specific performance suit in O.S.No.200 of 2014 against the respondent herein based on the sale agreement, dated 18.12.2012. The said suit was decreed on 10.11.2022. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed Execution Petition in E.P.No.2 of 2024. The respondent entered appearance on 06.11.2024, but has not filed the counter till date and purposely dragging the proceedings. After expiry of six months, the Execution Petition is pending, which is against the direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the 2/5

respondent.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Sub Court, Sivagangai, to dispose of the Execution Petition as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Sub Court, Sivagangai to dispose of the Execution Petition in E.P.No.2 of 2024 in O.S.No.200 of 2014 pending on his file, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
