ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the the respondents 2 and 3 to not to harass the petitioner by entering into a civil subject matter on the complaint given by the fourth respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in civil dispute which is of the year 2010 the respondent police on the instigation of the fourth respondent is unnecessarily calling the petitioner and harassing him to comply with the demand of the fourth respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in this case a complaint has been received from the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai in Cr.M.P. No.4230 of 2024 and based on which the petitioner was called for enquiry and the petitioner appeared for enquiry on 18.12.2024 and thereafter on the next hearing date he had sent his advocate and sought time to producing some documents and participate in the enquiry, but now filed this petition projecting as though he is 2/5

harassed. The respondent police would be complete the enquiry within a period of 30 days and send a report for which the presence of the petitioner is very much required.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the respondent police on 07.01.2025 on which he would produce documents and give explanation.

5. In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquire in the presence of the fourth respondent and also complete the same within a period of one month from 07.01.2025 without any further delay and thereafter not to unnecessarily harass the petitioner.

6. With the above direction the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
