ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.01.2024 for the offences under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.136 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case before the trial Court was at the stage of questioning under Section 1/3

313(1)(b) of Cr.P.C. When the matter was posted on 26.07.2023, the petitioner was absent and hence non bailable warrant was issued. This non bailable warrant was able to be executed and the petitioner was produced before the trial Court only on 24.01.2024. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further brought to the notice of this Court that A1 is still absconding.

3.In the light of the conduct on the part of the accused persons, there is no question of granting bail and the respondent police is directed to immediately secure A1 and produce before the trial Court. The Court below shall proceed further with the case and complete the proceedings within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
