ORDER
The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Cr.No.407 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent Police, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to conclude the investigation in the said case, within a time frame.
2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that the investigation in Cr.No.407 of 2024 has already been completed and final report has also been filed, through E.Filing before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti, on 12.06.2025. 3.Recording the above said submission, this criminal original petition is closed. Mere filing of final report through E-filing is not enough. It is the duty of the second respondent Police to ensure that the final report is taken on file. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Andipatti is expected to take up the final report on file, without any delay, if it is otherwise in order.
