PRAYER: Suo Motu Contempt Petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to initiate suo motu contempt proceedings against the Contemnors/ Appellants in the Writ Appeal in exercise of powers under Article 226 of the constitution of India and under Section 12 of the contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the Contemnors for their willful disobedience of the orders of this Honourable Court.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents has produced the copies of the Government Order in G.O.(D)No.5 Commercial Taxes and Registration (K) Department dated 08.01.2025, sanctioning payment of salary to the respondent herein without prejudice to their rights, as well as the receipt thereof by the respondents herein.

3. In view of the payment made, the disobedience alleged may not be wilful in nature and accordingly, the suo motu contempt proceedings is closed. Consequently, connected Sub Application (MD).No.19 of 2025 is closed. (M.S.R.,J.)
