2.The petitioner's mother was lodged in Special Prison for Women, Palayamkottai. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking her transfer to Special Prison for Women, Madurai.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's request has already been conceded. Transfer has already been effected on 30.12.2024. Nothing survives for further adjudication.

4.This Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
