The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in pursuant to the order of this Court, dated 18.11.2024, the petitioner has deposited 50% of the cheque amount i.e. a sum of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand only) to the credit of C.C.No.42 of 2012 before the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level), Nagercoil on 22.01.2025.
